Being a member entitles you to a wealth of activities:
- Our monthly Newsletters with news of ongoing activities plus a selection of members’ poems.
- A copy of the annual Anthology at no further charge.
- Attendance at monthly meetings where you can read your poetry and hear that of others.
- Participation in workshops, held several times a year, at a low reduced fee – Zoom workshops are offered at no extra charge, to members only.
To join Voices Israel, just download and fill in our membership application form; pay our annual membership fee (see below for ways of doing that); and email the completed form plus details of payment method to our Treasurer. The fee is 120 NIS for Israeli residents / $40 for overseas members; “Early Bird” rates (until March 31st of that year) are 100 NIS / $35 respectively.
If you’re still paying by check rather than bank transfer, BIT or PayPal (checks are not recommended but still accepted): print the completed application form and mail it to our Treasurer together with the check, to the address given below.
To renew your annual membership, just pay the fee – again, all the ways of doing that are detailed lower down this page. You only need to fill in the membership form again if one or more of your contact details have changed since you joined.
We prefer payment by bank transfer or BIT if you are in Israel or PayPal especially if you live abroad, but still accept payment by check (if you must) provided it’s in shekels. We do NOT accept international bank transfers — they cost us, and you, most of the membership fee! Instructions for paying by bank transfer, BIT or check are BELOW the PayPal buttons — scroll down to see them.
To pay via PayPal – click on the appropriate “Pay with PayPal” button below. Please let our Treasurer, Chanita, know that payment has been made by PayPal, and if you’re a new member or your contact details have changed: attach the filled-in membership form.
If paying via PayPal with an account that is not in your own name (e.g. an account in the name of a relative or spouse) you must give Chanita the name of the account holder, since PayPal will report the purchase as made by the owner of the account.
If you don’t have a PayPal account – sign up at www.paypal.com. It’s free and they don’t take a fee from you for making payments. No details of your credit card are transferred to us, only the amount paid.
