Volume 45, the 2019 Voices Israel Anthology, was launched on December 1st in Netanya. We returned to the Stage Bar Karaoke, Netanya for this year’s very enjoyable event. Nearly 30 people attended from all over Israel’,’ many read their own poems from the Anthology, and several were also proxy readers for poets unable to attend. The Stage Bar once again provided us with a light supper.
We warmly thanked the Anthology’s chief editor, Dina Yehuda, with a small presentation, and the outgoing editorial team Wendy Dickstein, Phella Hirschson and Amiel Schotz; and equally warmly welcomed in the new editorial team of David Fellerman, Edit Gavriely and Yehudit Goldfarb.
We were pleased to see at this event one or two new members, and guest poets who are considering joining us.
