lean on them until you’re found,
breathe your safe return

she writes from her soul
pure words to reach heaven’s ears
hate tries to destroy

in the autumn dark, have light
for checking the time.

out walking with your bashert,
channel your great name

like war-explosions
a patriot missile booms

Whatever the powers for
Good, may they prevail—

the cruelty of Hamas:
worlds collide at dawn.

  1. I pray for Judih and her husband and all the hostages who have been kidnapped as well as our soldiers who are fighting this unprecedented terror attach. I have often been cheered up by Judih`s haikus.
